Like so many of you, I was completely beside myself with the surprise appearance of KrustyLand at the beginning if the month. And like many of you, I was initially put off by finding out that the $3 Million I had saved for the event was utterly useless. However, like every semi-addicted Tapper, I soon found myself immersed in working through as many challenges, adding as many characters into Krusty-play, and bargaining with my common sense when trying to decide which, if any, of the premium items I wanted.
Almost a month into KrustyLand, and once again I find myself stunned by a couple of things. First, how much fun I am having plodding through the levels in real time (not using donuts to rush) and how many of my “friends” are not only completely through the KrustyLand quests, but have built elaborate and extremely complex KrustyLands that put the “Other Springfield” to shame.
The key to getting through KrustyLand as efficiently as possible once again comes down to keeping every possible character in KrustyLand at all times, and earning the greatest dollars possible (4 and 8 hour quests, max).
My favorite aspect of KrustyLand is that every building or ride that is purchased through a quest continues to be an optional mini-quest for the players involved with the original quest. Unlike many of the Springfield buildings that become almost useless after the initial quest, KrustyLand keeps producing action and laughs.
If my math is right, I am about a week from completion of the current, primary KrustyLand offerings and build out. When I have completed the basic build, I will move on to earning tickets to by more land, rearrange the layout, and add lush, full landscaping.
I’m curious to know if there will be more additions and quests for KrustyLand, or if like SquidPort, when you are finished with the basics, most of the fun is over. But I digress…
OK kids…what say you?
Are you satisfied with Krustyland? How many of the premium items did you buy with donuts?
And…those with KRAZY wild and elaborate KrustyLands…how did you do it? Cheats? Discounted donuts? Both?
And finally, if you are “built out” in Springfield, SquidPort and KrustyLand, what are you doing to feed your habit?
Ok…no matter where you spend your Tappin’ time, Keep On Tappin’!
